2. Bee Movie

About 150 people came out on July 10th and mingled with their friends/neighbors on Thursday July 10th at Fairview Park. The crowd enjoyed some free entertainment from SpiritHoops prior to our “Feature Presentation. The Bethlehem Health Department working with St. Luke’s Hospital had the HealthStar van on site for health education and screening programs!

We started setting up around 6pm. The Cops-n-Kids program was there and distributed 200 free books!

The Fairview Blockwatch was handling the concession stand and had a good night selling hot dogs, popcorn and other movie fare. Concession stand benefits the Fairview Blockwatch. If you live in the neighborhood, talk to the blockwatch members about getting involved. They meet at the 4th Avenue Police Substation on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00PM

Honey Just Got Funny!

Barry B. Benson, a bee who has just graduated from college, is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry’s life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City. As their relationship blossoms, he discovers humans actually eat honey, and subsequently decides to sue us.
