4. Serendipity
Well, we can tell school is back in session! A more intimate crowd assembled on Sept. 11th for the festivities at Fairview Park. We had the gang from Spirithoops out again and the kids had a great hooping contest. They are getting pretty good at it!
We also had the gang from Underwired on Main Street come out and do a fashion show parading some vintage fashion at Fairview. Something we will probably do again next year with another more grown-up movie like Serendipity.
Just a reminder for everyone that we start earlier each night as we are quickly loosing daylight. This is a good thing because we get home earlier as well on a school night.
The Bethlehem Health Department was out distributing emergency preparedness kits both here and at Friendship Park on Wednesday Night. Cops n Kids also joined us and celebrated giving away their 200,000 book! That’s a HUGE amount of book! Congratulations Cops N Kids!!!!!
The Fairview Blockwatch again did a fine job with the concession stand. Everyone loves the fresh popcorn, grilled hot dogs etc. Help the blockwatch help your neighborhood. Come early and eat ALOT! If you live in the neighborhood, talk to the blockwatch members about getting involved. They meet at the 4th Avenue Police Substation on the first Thursday of each month at 7:00PM
Serendipity was brought to you by the merchants of the Main Street Commons. Thanks guys for helping make Serendipity possible at Fairview!
