Over the Hedge got alot of laughs at Friendship Park on Wednesday. Lots of recognizable stars doing the voices. Great job as usual from the gang from Spirithoops. Feel free to join in next time and watch the pounds melt away! 

The Bethlehem Health Department was busy distributing emergency preparedness kits. It’s important to think about what you would do in an emergency. Winter is coming and it’s supposed to be cold and snowy. What if we get an ice storm and the power is out for a couple days? What’s your plan? Think about those emergencies because when it’s happening is not the time to prepare. Let’s all hope the folks down in Texas are ready for Hurrican Ike. It looks like a big one!

 

 

The Neighbors on Watch Block Group handled the concession stand as usual. Good job making that fresh popcorn and roasting up those delicious hot dogs!!. Help the blockwatch help the neighborhood….come early and bring your appetite! If you live in the neighborhood, talk to the blockwatch members about getting involved.
